February adventures (so far)

Here's another round of photos from this unschooling life of ours, and since I seem to not be very chatty in this space lately, I'll let Mister Rogers speak for me this time.

"If the day ever came when we were able to accept ourselves and our children exactly as we and they are, then, I believe, we would have come very close to an ultimate understanding of what "good" parenting means. It's part of being human to fall short of that total acceptance—and often far short. But one of the most important gifts a parent can give a child is the gift of accepting that child's uniqueness."

musica mitts; walking up the hill to the driveway (that we sled our groceries down); books, puzzles, and puppets at the library; watching wildlife; playing in the snow; weaving wool webs; making roasted Brussels sprouts; Lego club; painting in progress; web trap plans; hiking at Pewitt's Nest; browsing the local pet store; new pet mice; Candyland dance; Livinia and Elya Mousie; rollerskating rink, behind the scenes tour of the local movie theater; zipline at the park; archery; goose at the coop; making crêpes with our hen and goose eggs

So far, so good.
