Camille's new summertime look
Camille spends a lot of time with her friends, walking to the community pool, playing Minecraft, getting dropped off at the roller rink, singing karaoke at the community rec center. She's growing up and enjoying a bit more independence these days. She'll be twelve this summer, and she flip flops between being a thoughtful, responsible, young woman and a playful, silly girl. I love both aspects of her.
Can you tell she loves her new do?

the community pool with Papa
Ayla picked out about six dollars worth of kitchen supplies from the dollar store for her pool toys. We have had up to seven or eight random kids join us in making water runs (like a marble run) by pouring from measuring cups to funnels to cups to spoons and catching the water at the bottom to pour back up at the top. I highly recommend it for pool toys!
This man is my rock. We have been together for half of my life at this point and we're not sick of each other yet, so I think that bodes well for our future. :)
