Has a whole week gone by since I popped in with a blog post? I'll just jump back in.
We've been reading about dinosaurs, Caddie Woodlawn, more Berentsain Bears, and oodles of picture books. We've been watching Bill Nye, the Science Guy (brains and ocean exploration), the Frozen Planet series, The Electric Company, and various YouTube explorations. We've been listening to My Bonnie Light Horseman (being the sixth book of the saucy Bloody Jack series), Alice in Wonderland, free from storynory, and vintage children's album, both our own and free from kiddierecords.

while Camille gets up close and personal with her bones and her blood
Camille has been having mysterious pain in one of her legs for quite awhile now, but it doesn't appear to be anything too serious.

I am in the process of altering an old-fashioned dress pattern to make an old-fashioned night gown for Camille's upcoming play.
fun with facepaint
We've also hung out with fun local friends, had a sleep over (Camille), had fun with city friends at Aldo Leopold Nature Center (that will be its own blog post, methinks), baked cranberry maple cheesecake squares, fed the chickens, and danced in the living room. As my sweet Sylvia would say, it was a rockin' good week.

Wow, that all looks fab! No wonder you haven't had time to blog :-) Facepaints are such good fun, aren't they? I'm working on some monstrous designs for Milly's birthday....
