Sylvia's seven!

Sylvia awoke on her seventh birthday to sister snuggles and giggles.  The very first words out of her mouth in the morning were, "I'll take those seven kisses now." After getting some thoughtful presents from her sisters (a pair of small Nerf guns from Camille and a little, pink, light-up chick toy from Ayla), we went out for lunch at an Asian buffet that Sylvia picked as a 'fancy' place to go for her birthday.  Yup, we're not very fancy.

While we were out for lunch anyway, Papa and I quickly ran into a store for supplies for our chickens.  We spontaneously decided that a trio of ducklings would be a fun addition on Sylvia's birthday.

They are so adorable and well loved!

After an afternoon of silliness and ducky love, some local friends met us at the roller rink for birthday fun.

It was declared the Best Birthday Ever, not only by Sylvia, but by her sisters as well.  I love that.

Seven years ago on the last day of February, Sylvia Meadow was born at home in our bed with family, friend, and midwife present. She has graced us with her enthusiasm, joyful movement, and big laughter all these years! Happy 7th birthday, Sylvie!!!
