These last couple of weeks have felt like they were overflowing with learning and play, friends and outings (starting with a full-day blacksmithing class through the Driftless Folk School for Camille and ending with a homeschool field trip to a llama farm/large animal veterinary clinic).
I am humbled and grateful for this life of fullness, lived thoughtfully, on a budget, with strong personalities, ceaseless curiosity, sometimes exhaustion, occasional conflict, eyes and heart open, seeing the strengths and benefits of engagement and community-building as well as the blessings and advantages of time for contemplation and relaxation. In and out, like our breath, flowing through our days.

ReplyDeleteHave I ever mentioned how much I love your days, your learning? Even though we won't be homeschooling soon, you remind me of how much learning happens outside of school and with the family :-)
ReplyDeleteAww, thanks, ladies.
ReplyDeleteIngi, best wishes to your whole family as your kiddos transition into their new learning adventure!
What wonderful adventures! I love llamas. Aren't they just so lovely?
ReplyDeleteGreat pics, and looks like great fun! Mamacita
