Let the People be Heard

What we learned about today:  legislature, senators, Wisconsin politics, how bills are passed (or not), amendments, democracy, unions, labor rights, peaceful protests, ....

We are four of the estimated 40,000 people at the Wisconsin state capitol today participating in our right to gather and be heard.

  2. I'm so jealous - I have friends in Wisconsin who are teachers who have been demonstrating this week & I've wished I were there to join them. What a fantastic object lesson in democracy for your kids!

  4. Gives me chills to see so many people fighting for what they think is right. So great of you to get your kids involved and explaining to them what is going on.
