more goodness

Oh, our week has been filled with goodness indeed!  From simple moments of picking rhubarb with the littlest ragamuffin to a homeschool potluck/square dance.  (We brought rhubarb custard to share.)

I loved seeing all of the different ages of children and adults dancing together!

The next day, we met some friends at an indoor playground, and ran into even more friends, too!

After continuing our playdate at an outdoor park, we met with longtime friends at one of my favorite restaurants, Dobhan.

Camille and I went to a beautiful love-filled wedding!

Grandma and Grandpa came to visit.
 There was card playing,
and wildflower spotting on our walk.

As usual, the girls picked oodles of wild columbine.

We were undeterred by the light rain and made s'mores round the fire.  Grandma and Grandpa are currently braving a rainy night in the tent with Sylvia and Camille.  Judging by the giggles when they came into use the bathroom, all is going well!
As one week rolls into another, I'm again grateful for the ups and downs, for the busyness and the quiet moments, for the longtime friends and the new friends, for the struggles and the goodness in this life as we grow and learn and work and play.
