home video: feeding Potter with an eyedropper

Turns out our baby cottontail rabbit that we are trying to rehab to release into the wild is a boy. We named him Potter (after Beatrix...or Harry, take your pick). Exciting news: he has opened his eyes and is eating well!

The video quality isn't great, but hopefully Potter's cuteness makes up for that :) Here's some photos of him outside testing out his legs.

  1. My internet server is saying, Can't. Process. Video. 'Cos. It's. After. Midday. Clunk. Creeeeak. Let's hope I can watch in the morning!

He is SO SO SO cute. Potter is a gorgeous name. :)

ps I just loved your conversation with Camille via your last blog comments. What a sweetie she is!

  2. What a beautiful experience for you kids, helping Potter find his feet in the wild again.
    He is so cute!!!

  3. Oh, so cute! Lucky bunny after unlucky puppy encounter.

Your blog entries make me smile reading about you and your girls' adventures.

  4. Oh, Nikole—I just watched your video. He is adorable. I've never seen anything like this. Or like YOU. You are so incredibly kind, gentle, and nurturing. Potter is so lucky. You are an inspiration. You really are the embodiment of Yes.

Thank you, from the bottom of my now delighted heart, for sharing this!

  5. Helena, thank you for your kind support. You are very sweet to me and a true inspiration.

  6. What a cutie! And, the rabbit is very cute too :) Really sweet.
